In 2015, GreenAngel Energy, a publicly listed company, changed its business model from equity investing in cleantech companies to debt financing for enterprises. The company, now named Montfort Capital, trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol, “MONT”.

In December 2016, a related company, GreenAngel Technology Ventures became part of WUTIF Capital (VCC) Inc. GreenAngel was focused entirely on cleantech ventures whereas WUTIF invests in all kinds of technology start-ups. WUTIF has several cleantech companies in its portfolio.
