Successful Event for Light-Based Technologies:
Strategies in Light Conference 2011
They came. They illuminated. They conquered.
On February 24th 2011, Light-Based Technologies, a GreenAngel Energy Investee company, were incredibly well received at North America’s largest lighting conference. The Strategies in Light Conference and Exhibition, held in Santa Monica for 2011 is a fantastic place for smaller light companies to show off their technologies.
Last week, LBT was able to see the benefits of months of effort by both the marketing and engineering teams. The company chose Strategies in Light 2011, in Santa Clara as their first ever Solid State Lighting exhibition. Strategies in Light is the premiere LED lighting tradeshow in North America, with key decision makers represented from all aspects of the value chain.
LBT focused on its three core messages of Quality of Light, Efficacy and Future Proof Designs. All of these concepts were understood and appreciated by power supply manufacturers, interior designers and fixture manufacturers. Each of these key attributes was demonstrated with a corresponding show unit, that together communicated the flexibility and power of the LB4 platform. The sales team at LBT returned with many new, qualified leads. Over the next weeks the team will be working furiously to prioritize the large volume of requests and new opportunities.
The LBT team also took the opportunity to learn more about complimentary technology advances in the Solid State Lighting industry. Based on what they saw and heard, they are more confident than ever that they possess innovative and valuable lighting and control solutions to suit the market’s needs.
Light-Based Technologies continues to pursue their major customer opportunity, and have provided them with a set of preliminary prototypes, which surpassed the customer’s performance expectations. They will be undergoing preliminary testing while LBT continues to finalize the product.
The GreenAngel management team is very optimistic about the future of LBT and where they are placed in the LED / Solid State Lighting industry.
